Patients of labyrinthitis are most commonly from the 30-60 years of age but rarely are children

A middle ear infection and/or inflammation is called as the Otitis media. Younger children are the ones who are susceptible to an ear infection. An ear infection on a child is usually hard to spot. When the labyrinth is infected it's usually called an inner ear infection but specifically it is labyrinthitis. You must note that an infection in the middle ear is different from that of the inner ear. Labyrinthitis is not an ear infection that is common on children but it's common in adults
